Hiring the Hall or Meeting Rooms
The Village Hall facilities are available for hire for all types of groups or users. This can include:
- One-off use for special occasions or events
- Regular events, groups or meetings
- Sports, education, fund raising or entertainment
- Commercial or not-for-profit groups, Individuals, Charities or other organisations
- Private functions or events open to all
We can provide a range of facilities depending on the size of room(s) required, and the hall has a kitchen and bar.
Use our facilities
As the Hall is a charitable trust we give priority to use by other charitable organisations, events that support the community, sporting and educational use. Special rates may be available - especially if you are just starting up a new group.
The Hall is also frequently used for private parties and celebrations - so please check with us to see if we are free for your event.
Conditions of Hire
The premises enjoy provision for full regulated entertainment with the exceptions of Boxing, Wrestling or the provision of late night refreshment, and is licensed for the sale, by retail, of alcohol. To remain good neighbours and comply with the other legislative requirements we require hall hirers to formally agree to our conditions of hire.
The diagram adjacent shows the boundary of the licensed area - Hall users must ensure that any licensed activities do not go onto the playing fields or other areas beyond this boundary.
Please note that use of inflatables such as "Bouncy castles" are not permitted when hiring the hall.
