The Coaley Amateur Dramatic Society exists solely to present the annual village pantomime. This extremely popular event takes place around the end of November and is always a sell-out. It is very much a community venture, with members from all walks of life coming together to put on a performance for the village.

Rehearsals are informal and fun and there is a collective feeling of team-spirit involved in the whole process. There are many ways to become involved, either on stage, with roles both large and small, or by offering to lend a hand with any of the backstage or front of house roles which support a successful production. New members are always very welcome, both on the stage (minimum age of 7years, with no upper age limit) and in the many supportive roles behind the scenes.
